Green Innovations will expand in the first quarter of 2012 and have 115,000 square feet under one roof. The expansion allows Green Innovations to properly handle the continued growth plus the addition of the new Erema extruder.

Green Innovations made a trip to Europe this past month to view multiple Erema recycling lines. The purpose of this trip was to find an extruder that offers Green Innovations the most flexibility, consistent quality in product produced, and additional capacity due to growth.

Green Innovations did extensive research and found that Erema is one of the world’s leaders in manufacturing recycling lines. As a result, Green Innovations has purchased an Erema extruder system that will produce a pellet in the first quarter of 2012. This investment gives Green Innovations customers security in knowing their branded products are processed domestically on site in Solon Ohio.

Green Innovations has proudly promoted John Messina from Warehouse Manager to the Sales Team. John has learned the plastics business the hard way by working in the warehouse very diligently and professionally. His hard work ethic, desire to learn, and belief in the Landfill Free philosophy, will serve him and Green Innovations well in the recycling business.

Green Innovations is excited to announce the addition of Jerrold Carter to our team. Jerrold has extensive knowledge of implementing post industrial and post consumer closed loop recycling. He is a native of the Detroit area and will be covering a large geographical area of the Midwest for Green Innovations. With Jerrold’s hard work, dedication, and belief in the Landfill Free philosophy, Green Innovations has added another key component to serve its current and potential customers.

Green Innovations moves to Solon Ohio for a larger processing facility to meet their ever growing needs in the recycling business. The new location is currently 55,000 square feet with additional space to become a total of 115,000 square feet. Green Innovations intends on filling the whole building within two years and has scheduled plans to open up additional processing locations in the South in the coming years.
